A
Message To All Participating VSTUA Challenger Jamboree
Umpires
To
the wonderful Virginia State Tournament Umpires,
On
behalf of the committee for the Little League Worldwide
Challenger Jamboree, I just want to express my
appreciation and gratitude for umpiring at this year’s
event. For the many of you to travel the distance that
you did and give up your weekend was truly remarkable.
It was such a pleasure to see a large number of
“blues” volunteering their time to take the field
and make this a memorable event for the Challenger
players. And to see that you treated it with the same
energy that you do for a tournament game was
spectacular. I’m sorry that I didn’t get to meet and
greet each one of you, but I hope you were treated well
by everyone here. I do hope you had a great time and
will return next year.
